Wow! Dragonback played great last night. It was so much FUN winning the first game of the quarter-finals. YES!
I was very sore before the game. Tuesday night was the first practice of the WIHO MegaIce 5's team. I had asked Grant Phillips (who is graciously coaching us) to please help me improve my goal tending. (He's an awesome goalie.) I haven't had a proper practice in many, many years---probably not since my Brown days (or soon there after--there may have been some practices during the time I played hockey in the Boston area during my first two years out of school). Ugh. It was tough---and I have much room for improvement. However, I followed Grant's advice (at least most of the time) during our game and my coverage of the net was greatly improved. I'm looking forward to working more with him (and the WIHO team) during our next 5 practices.
