We're currently in Santorini. Staying in the Aqua Vatos in Kamari which is awesome. George and Alina who manage the Aqua Vatos are INCREDIBLE. Really switched on, friendly, and they go the extra mile. Upon checking in on Claire's birthday, they had a cake ready for her ("the best EVER" according to Claire) AND they decorated her room.
Tom and Cathy had a big night...I heard them outside our room the other morning. I thought they were going to breakfast...turns out that they were coming home at 6:30 am. Tom said "Tonight was worth the entire price of our trip. Cathy and I totally bonded." That is very cool. I spend the morning and the first part of the afternoon with James and Claire. The beach in Kamari was very Zen...millions of smooth volcanic rocks instead of sand. At the end of the beach there is black sand but we hung out in the middle.
Went to Fira today...very beautiful although Ouia was even better in my opinion. Had a very Jimmy Buffett "Wish Lunch Would Last Forever" experience.
Should get the cheekies to bed...flying back to Athens in the morning. Will walk around the Acropolis (had dinner by it earlier this week) and visit Poseidon's Temple before flying to Dubai on Saturday evening.
Spoke with Heather earlier...awesome, wish she was here...although she did send an email with a rude (and funny) comment about Greece.
Probably won't blog until I'm back in HK next week...will be 40 by then! And will arrive back JUST in time for the Mega Ice 5's...Can't wait!
